The P-SAP Manager oversees the PRISM Student Ambassador Program. To learn more about P-SAP, click here.
This is a part-time position (15-25 hours per week) with an expected pay of $20/hour.
Applicants local to South Florida (Palm Beach, Broward, or Miami-Dade County) are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating regular meetings with P-SAP members
Recruiting P-SAP members from each high school and university in South Florida
Creating resources for effective club leadership on school campuses
Coordinating with the Policy Task Force to keep P-SAP members updated on state and local policy developments that may impact them/how they can get involved
Connecting P-SAP members with opportunities to get involved in PRISM and their community
Maintaining relationships with P-SAP members and GSA sponsors throughout South Florida
Coordinating speaking engagements with LGBT student organizations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading an LGBTQ+ student organization
Experience with community outreach/engagement
Understanding of LGBTQ+ issues
