PRISM relies on the dedicated contributions of volunteers to further its initiatives. PRISM conducts many initiatives digitally, which makes marketing and building a solid brand image extremely important. In addition, leading those digital initiatives is paramount to our work. Our SMDCT Director oversees our Social Media/Design Coordinators Task Force.


The SMDCT Director has the following responsibilities:

  • Provide necessary information to volunteers about the SMDCT, community service, upcoming events, etc

  • Coordinate community service, payroll, and attendance logs with other management staff within the SMDCT and Volunteer Managers

  • Complete necessary paperwork for volunteers and staff within the SMDCT

  • Develop and organize social media campaigns and posts, including research, writing, design, videography, publishing, and advertising

  • Coordinate photographers for events

  • Develop and organize designs for merchandise

  • Maintain www.prismfl.org and manage new content, SEO, advertising, and analytics

  • Coordinate the design of flyers and other print material

  • Coordinate e-blasts and newsletters

  • Assist in securing grant funding for the SMDCT
