What do Social Media/Design Coordinators do?
Social Media/Design Coordinators (SMDCs, for short) keep PRISM looking its best. From social media posts to the website you're on now, everything your eyes take in was made by these Adobe wizards and photography experts.
Who makes up the SMDCs?
Visual Design Director
Our Visual Design Director, Sarah Bruso, manages post visuals to ensure that they are in tip-top shape. Visual Designers submit their visuals to the Visual Design Director for approval.
Master of the graphics tablet, conqueror of the pen tool, Visual Designers utilize Adobe Creative Suite programs and other design software to create graphics and designs for social media, our website, and promotional material (flyers, info cards, signage, etc).
Social Media Directors
Social media directors manage their assigned platform, coordinate social media posts across their assigned platform, and work with Visual Design Directors to ensure posts are ready.
Social Media Drafters
There's a reason PRISM is always loud and proud, and we can't do it without social media! Social Media Drafters coordinate posts across platforms to maximize outreach and stay consistent across PRISM's social media accounts (which you can check out here if you'd like...)
PRISM's very own paparazzi make sure that every smile, laugh, and picture-perfect moment is captured at PRISM events so we can show just how lively our initiatives are (or how cute our outfits were that day.... whatever works).
To keep deadlines met and our brand shining, PRISM's SMDCT Manager, CJ Walden, makes sure everyone knows what's expected and how they can help.
How do I join the SMDCT?

Our SMDCT also has monthly meetings to discuss future programs, give updates, and provide more information to new members. It's open to all, and you can even get the chance to earn community service hours for attending! Check below to see if there's one coming up!
