About the Event

Every year, students across the country take a vow of silence to protest against LGBT erasure in schools, known as Day of Silence. On Friday, April 22nd, join an LGBTQ+ coalition of both youth-serving organizations and students at the Pridelines center as we break the silence, expanding on this annual tradition with widespread community involvement to rally against the "Don't Say Gay" law.

This event will be recorded and televised on Nickelodeon News. All participants will be asked to sign a release form. Participants under the age of 18 need a waiver signed by a legal guardian in order to be recorded. Participants under the age of 18 without a waiver will be accommodated within the youth zone and will not be recorded or televised. Signed waiver must be signed the day of the event or downloaded prior to participating. You can download the waiver at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1k6yvutp7UtdJAK7BOAma_ufY03iiQgF_/view
