About the Event
On October 17, 2023, the Broward County School Board will be voting to approve sexual health curriculum for all grade levels (K-12). The curriculum covers many critical topics for all students, whether or not they're queer-- examples include consent, personal hygiene, gender, STI prevention, and healthy relationships.
PRISM is showing out in support of Item I-1 on the agenda. This is the kind of inclusive and comprehensive education that students need and we continue to fight for.
