About the Event

PRISM Policy Power Hour is a space for LGBTQ+ youth and allies to get clear, get confident, and get involved. Florida’s political landscape is moving fast, and too often, decisions are made without us at the table. This hour is all about changing that.

We’ll walk through what’s actually happening with laws and policies that affect our lives—whether it’s attacks on trans healthcare, censorship in schools, or efforts to silence queer voices. We’ll make sense of the headlines, answer your questions, and talk about real ways to take action. From giving public comment to organizing your peers, this space is built to help you turn frustration into strategy.

Whether you're brand new to advocacy or already taking a stand, this is your chance to plug in, learn something new, and leave feeling more powerful than when you came in.
