About the Event

Please join us in-person at 6pm on Monday, November 20th, for the 11th TDOR event, which marks the official 10-year anniversary of Transgender Day of Remembrance & Resilience (TDOR&R) Miami.

TDORR will be held at the Scott Galvin Community Center (formerly the JWU Wildcat Center). Please mark yourself as "going" on Facebook to help us plan for food/beverages.

After last year's event was severely impacted by extreme weather/flooding, we are especially grateful to gather in-person to stand in solidarity with our trans/non-binary family and to honor those lost to anti-trans violence, transphobia, and suicide throughout the last year.

TDORR, a name chosen by us for us (that is also unique to the Miami event and it’s history - more on that here: https://tr.ee/JJunh_l24Z), is exclusively grassroots, and exclusively trans/non-binary led. There will be no cop parades and no politician song and dances. You can expect trans performers, trans speakers, and trans-generated content to honor who we've lost and to celebrate the vibrance and aliveness of trans people in our local communities.
