About the Event

Please join us in-person at 6pm on Monday, November 20th, for the 11th TDOR event, which marks the official 10-year anniversary of Transgender Day of Remembrance & Resilience (TDOR&R) Miami.

TDORR will be held at the Scott Galvin Community Center (formerly the JWU Wildcat Center). Please mark yourself as "going" on Facebook to help us plan for food/beverages.

TDORR, a name chosen by us for us (that is also unique to the Miami event and it’s history - more on that here: https://tr.ee/JJunh_l24Z), is exclusively grassroots, and exclusively trans/non-binary led. There will be no cop parades and no politician song and dances. You can expect trans performers, trans speakers, and trans-generated content to honor who we've lost and to celebrate the vibrance and aliveness of trans people in our local communities.

In celebration with TDORR, PRISM will be tabling at the Resource Village. We are looking for two (2) to four (four) volunteers to support with the outreach efforts. Volunteer responsibilities will include assisting with set-up, spreading information on PRISM initiatives and efforts, gift bag handouts and breakdown. Please RSVP to indicate you interest in volunteering at TDOR.

Thank you kindly!
