Youth Power at the Capitol

Youth Power at the Capitol is a dynamic program designed to mobilize youth across Florida and build the next generation of community leaders ready to drive real change during the state's legislative session. This is an all-expenses-paid trip, including transportation and lodging.

Through this experience, young people will strengthen their understanding of the legislative process and develop lasting connections with peers and mentors. Participants will receive hands-on training in lobbying, testifying before committees, meeting with elected officials, and organizing both in Tallahassee and in their local communities.

As Florida faces critical issues like education, climate change, migrant rights, democracy, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and reproductive justice, your voice matters more than ever. Youth Power at the Capitol equips you with the tools and skills to lead impactful advocacy efforts at the state level and beyond.
