November 7, 2022
Alexandra Martinez
“[The rule] essentially puts a target on the backs of trans kids, by notifying all of their parents about this,” said Maxx Fenning, the founder and president of PRISM, an organization that works to expand access to LGBTQIA+-inclusive education and sexual health resources for youth in south Florida.

LGBT Youth Services Across South Florida
September 13, 2022
Christian Walden
The 2022 school year is here and the “Don't Say Gay” law is in full effect.
The law will only apply in K-3 until the Florida Department of Education releases state standards that define what is not "age-appropriate" or "developmentally appropriate" for other grade levels. Regardless, LGBT youth face discrimination, and there are youth services available across the tri-county area to help them.
